Previously known as Bhadgaun, Bhaktapur, and Baudhanath is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Baudhanath and Bhaktapur region has beautiful cultures, art, histories. Originally 99 courtyards but after 1934 deadly earthquake only 6 are remaining. Dattatrya, Nyatapola, and Taleju are the three major separate groups of a temple in Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur Durbar Square highlights the ancient arts of Nepal and is charming architectural showpieces of the valley. The temple well known for 55 windows (Pachpanna Jhyale durbar) constructed by King Jitamitra Malla in 1427 AD. The temple was home to royalty until 1769 and now is National Gallery. The golden temple leads to Mulchowk Court which is home to Taleju Temple. Taleju Bhawani and Kumari are dedicated to Taleju Mandir. Kumari is the living goddess and taking her photograph is strictly prohibited. The Durbar square is encircled by impressive architecture and vibrantly showcases. This Square has the importance and skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen over several centuries. Boudhanath is stupa of Buddhist which also symbolizes the peace. Bauddhanath is located in the 11km from the center of the northeastern direction of Kathmandu valley. The features of Bauddhanath is the massive mandala which makes one of the largest spherical stupas of Nepal.
