Ganesh Himal is a sub-range of the Himalayan mountain range towards north-central Nepal. This sub-range gets its name from the Hindu Lord Ganesha as the south face of Pabil (Ganesh IV 7,104m, 23,307ft) resembles the trunk of Ganesha. The highest peak in the range is Yangra (Ganesh I), 7,422m (24,350 ft). Ganesh Himal region is bounded by peaceable settlements and terraced fields, mighty glaciers, magnificent mountains and warm native people. We will have the moments to talk and befriend with the local people of these areas. We can observe the diverse ways of inhabitation, and come in contact with several people subsequent to various caste, creed, and culture. They live in the flat-roofed house in a remote village. The Trisuli Gandaki valley on the east separates it from the Langtang Himal (7300m), the Budhi Gandaki valley and the Shyar Khola valley; on the west separate it from the Sringi Himal and the Mansiri Himal.

Day 04: Trek from Samari Bhanjyang to Katunje Bazaar (765m.) takes about six and half hours.

Day 05: Trek from Katunje Bazaar to Kintang Phedi (655m.) takes about five and half hours.

Day 06: Trek from Kintang Phedi to Jharlang (1500m.) takes about six hours.

Day 07: Trek from Jharlang to Chalise (2000m.) takes about six hours.

Day 08: Trek from Chalise to Hindung takes about five hours.

Day 09: Trek from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka takes about five and half hours.

Day 10: Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake) Ganesh Himal Base Camp takes about six hours.

Day 11: Rest day at the Base Camp.

Day 12: Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka

Day 13: Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2000m.) takes about six hours.

Day 14: Trek from Chalise to Laba village (1750m.) takes about six hours.

Day 15: Trek from Laba village to Manyang Bhanjyang (2934m.) takes about five hours.

Day 16: Trek from Manyang Bhanjyang to Majhgaun (2200m.) takes approximately six hours.

Day 17: Trek from Majhgaun to Budathum takes about five hours.

Day 18: Trek from Budathum to Arughat Bazaar (500m.) takes about two hours.

Day 19: Recreation & shopping day. Stay overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 20: Transfer to the Airport for final departure. (Fly out from Kathmandu).

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport. Transfer to the hotel by Gautam holidays representative and stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: City sightseeing

City sightseeing in and around Kathmandu valley. (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Patan). Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Samari Bhanjyang(1250m.) through Trishuli Bazaar (540m.) by bus.

Leave Kathmandu early morning for a 7-hour drive to the hill town of Sole Bazaar. We will be traveling on Prithvi Highway. In this route, you pass through Trisuli Bazaar, a small town that was once the center for trekking in this region and is home to a minor but fascinating traditional bazaar. From here you travel on gravel highway until you reach Samari Bhanjyang. This is a attractive drive as you can see the beautiful scenery of rice terraces, small gorges, and green hills. Samari Bhanjyang is a minor city which was a transaction place in the past. Stay overnight at camp in Samari Bhanjyang.

Day 04: Trek from Samari Bhanjyang to Katunje Bazaar (765m.) takes about six and half hours.

In the beginning, you trek along a gradually descendent path until your path turns uphill. Finally, you trek through the smooth land to reach your last stop. En direction you pass different villages, forests enclosed with pine and rhododendron, farming terraces, small streams and numerous green hills. There is a minor market in Katunje and you can have the first glimpse of Ganesh Himal from here. Stay overnight at camp in Katunje Bazaar.

Day 05: Trek from Katunje Bazaar to Kintang Phedi (655m.) takes about five and half hours.

In the beginning, the trail goes downward till Lapang. From there you will continue walking along the river bank until you reach Kintang Phedi. En route you pass numerous old-fashioned villages, farming terraces, a fishing spot and attractive green hills. Kintang Phedi lies at the bank of Netrawati or Ankhu Khola (stream). There are a few characteristic houses, shops with insignificant supplies and terraces where local people grow potatoes and other food grains. Stay overnight at camp in Kintang Phedi.

Day 06: Trek from Kintang Phedi to Jharlang (1500m.) takes about six hours.

All the way, you trek on a progressively climbing path transient through several villages, farming walkways, and green hills. The villages are mainly occupied by Tamangs, Brahmins, and Chhetris respectively. Maize, millet, rice, wheat, buckwheat and green vegetables are the main staple food. Jharlang is a Tamang village where you find a government school and several typical houses. The main occupation of the locals is agriculture. Stay overnight at camp in Jharlang.

Day 07: Trek from Jharlang to Chalise (2000m.) takes about six hours.

You trek quite a rising path until the trail levels out to the ending point. While trekking you pass many Tamang villages. Borang and Shertum are among the famous Tamang villages. There are schools, a health post, chortens and main walls in these Tamang villages. The main profession of the people is farming. The scenic beauties you can see are of green hills, terraces, and villages at a far distance. Stay overnight at camp in Chalise.

Day 08: Trek from Chalise to Hindung takes about five hours.

The preliminary part of the path goes descending to Menchet Khola (stream) and after journey this watercourse you trek precipitously up and then gradually up to reach Hindung. This day you pass small Tamang villages, small forests, farming terraces and green hills. Hindung is an attractive big village mainly occupied by Tamang. The main occupation is farming and the farmers grow potatoes, millet, barley, maize, beans and other vegetables. You find many walls and prayer flags in some parts of the villages. One thing to sign is that it is the last village you pass while trekking to Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Stay overnight at camp in Hindung.

Day 09: Trek from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka takes about five and half hours.

After leaving Hindung you will rarely find walkways. The route up to Rajgang Kharka is climbing and flat as well. You walk along the trail enclosed with forests of rhododendron and local vegetation. These forests are the snuggling places of various sorts of birds and wild animals. Rajgang Kharka is bounded by beautiful forests and mainly with grassland. Except winter seaso, the local people bring domestic animals especially sheep for grazing. Stay overnight at camp in Rajgang Kharka.

Day 10: Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake) Ganesh Himal Base Camp takes about six hours.

The trek is slight and assignments mostly difficult and demolished path in some places. You walk along the trail enclosed with forests for few hours. Towards the end, the trail moves along the land where you rarely find any trees. You find alpine grass here due to in height altitude. At Kalo Seto Kunda there are two lakes of holy suggestion. The surface of Kalo or Black Lake is enclosed with black stones. On the contrary, the external of Seto Kunda or White Lake is enclosed with white shinning stones. During winter season these lakes are freezing. Stay overnight at camp in Kalo Seto Kunda.

Day 11: Rest day at the Base Camp.

You can have an excursion in and around Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake). From here you can enjoy the brilliant views of Ganesh Himal, Paldor Himal and many others. Stay overnight at camp in Base Camp.

Day 12: Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka

Trek from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka takes about six hours. You trek along the offspring and thin path where you find alpine grass on both sides. Stay overnight at camp in Rajgang Kharka.

Day 13: Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2000m.) takes about six hours.

The trail transmissions downhill all the way to Chalise. While trekking you pass forests till Hindung and after intersection it you once again find a few Tamang villages. Stay overnight at camp in Chalise

Day 14: Trek from Chalise to Laba village (1750m.) takes about six hours.

You trek straightforward all the way to Laba Besi and then turn difficult to reach Laba village. This day you pass pine forests, Tamang villages, farming terraces, green hills and villages at far distance. Laba is a beautiful Gurung village with its own tradition and culture. Stay overnight at camp in Laba Village.

Day 15: Trek from Laba village to Manyang Bhanjyang (2934m.) takes about five hours.

This day you trek over attractive rhododendron and pine forests. These forests are the home of various classes of birds and wild animals. The path moves up hill all the way to Manyang Bhanjyang. From here you can see the first indication of Ganesh Himal. While trekking you pass Khading village mainly exist in by Tamang and Gurung. The main crop is potatoes here. Manyang Bhanjyang is a point where you will find forests and grassland. This is a perfect place for camping as your camping site is surrounded by rhododendron and oak forests. Overnight at camp in Manyang Bhanjyang.

Day 16: Trek from Manyang Bhanjyang to Majhgaun (2200m.) takes approximately six hours.

To reach Majhgaun you have to trek along a slowly descending trail and after some time a sharply descendant path. On the way you permit forests of rhododendron and oak, villages, farming terraces and green hills. This day you are quite riveted by the clear views of the Manaslu range, including Buddha peak on a clear climate day, along with other unnamed mountains and peaks. As you enter Majhgaun you will find local people existence complicated in farming but it is specified that some people have travelled either to foreign countries or Kathmandu. Stay overnight at camp in Majhgaun.

Day 17: Trek from Majhgaun to Budathum takes about five hours.

You walk along the trail subjugated with villages, forests, streams and walkways. This day you can enjoy the picturesque beauty of green hills. Budathum is a small town with a local old market. This village is predominately inhabited by the Newar community. From here you can enjoy the remarkable views of the Manaslu range at a far distance. Stay overnight at camp in Budathum.

Day 18: Trek from Budathum to Arughat Bazaar (500m.) takes about two hours.

On this same day you drive back to Kathmandu. To reach Arughat Bazaar you trek a descending path which then levels out. On the way, you pass a few torrents, villages, farming porches and small forests. Most of the time, the route moves along the river bank of the Budhi Gandaki. Aarughat Bazaar shelters a small area with an old market. Here, you find shops with minimal supplies, a motorable road, high school, health post, typical tea houses, small lodges and it lies at the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River. Here, the route to Manaslu trek meets.

You panel your vehicle at Arughat Bazaar to reach Kathmandu. This is a very picturesque journey. While powerful, you head up to Dhading Besi and Malekhu. Malekhu is well-known for delightful fish. En route, you can relish mountain views, green backgrounds, rice walkway fields, vegetable fields and people being promised in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the doorway to the capital city. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 19: Recreation & shopping day. Stay overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 20: Transfer to the Airport for final departure. (Fly out from Kathmandu).
